Al-Mikdad in Tehran to takes part in the High Level International Consultative Conference on Palestine  

Tehran – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad on Saturday arrived in Iran to take part in the High Level International Consultative Conference on Palestine, which is due to be held today in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Al-Mikdad, who is leading an official delegation, visits the Iranian capital at the invitation of his Iranian Counterpart Hussein Amir Abdolahian.

The Conference aims at enhancing the international support for the Palestinian people and at pressuring the Zionist entity to immediately stop its military attacks on Gaza Strip, to completely lift the siege imposed on Gaza Strip and to allow urgent humanitarian aid to reach the Palestinian people.

High level government officials as well as political and religious personalities, intellectuals and journalists from more than 50 countries are participating in this conference.

In the same context,  Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Naser Kanaani said that holding this conference comes within the framework of Iran’s continued diplomatic efforts to support the resistance of the Palestinian people. He stressed that the immediate halt of the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist apartheid system against the Palestinian people is the demand of all seekers of rights and justice and of all people with living human conscience around the whole world.
