Al-Mikdad holds talks with his counterparts on sidelines of AL Council ministerial meeting

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad Held several meetings with a number of his counterparts on the sidelines of the Arab League (AL) Council ministerial meeting in Cairo.

Al-Mikdad met with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Lebanon Abdullah Bou Habib, UAE Foreign Minister Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar and Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nabil Ammar. Talks with the ministers dealt with ways to enhance bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.

The ministers exchanged points on different issues and reiterated the need to adopt a unified position to support the struggle of the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli war of extermination in Gaza and the West Bank, and back the right of the Palestinians to establish their independent state on their land with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital, and the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.
