Al-Mikdad discusses with his Algerian, Tunisian and Saudi counterparts the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people
On the sidelines of the emergency Arab ministerial meeting held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad discussed with Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, the latest developments of the criminal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
The two ministers expressed the common vision and the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries to resist colonial schemes in the region. They stressed the right of the Palestinian people to resist, affirming Syria and Algeria’s support for the Palestinians’ struggle to defend their just cause, restore their usurped rights and establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
The two ministers affirmed the importance of the fraternal relations between Syria and Algeria and the need to boost the bilateral relations in all fields.
In addition, Al-Mikdad met with Nabil Ammar, the Tunisian Foreign Minister. The two sides stressed the need to coordinate positions in the light of the common vision on the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, and to take a unified Arab position against this aggression.
Al-Mikdad also met with the Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and discussed with him the importance of strengthening Arab coordination in the face of Israel’s illegal practices.
The two sides also agreed to enhance communication and coordination for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
