Al-Mikdad, Ardzinba hold talks on boosting Syria-Abkhazia ties and strengthening friendship

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad and the Foreign Minister of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba on Thursday held talks at the conclusion of Ardzinba’s visit to Syria.

The two sides affirmed the need to follow up on implementing what has been agreed on during the visit.

Ardzinba hailed the important talks held between the two sides which dealt with aspects of cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, development and sport fields.

For his part, Al-Mikdad asserted Syria keenness on enhancing bilateral relations and reactivating cooperation and coordination and consolidating friendship ties between the peoples of the two countries in implementation of the directives of Presidents Bashar Al-Assad and Aslan Bzhania.
