On the sidelines of the Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries in Azerbaijan’s Capital Baku, Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad, held talks on Thursday with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian on the latest developments in the region and the world.
The two ministers reviewed the most important topics listed on the agenda of the Baku meeting.
They condemned the incessant crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, most recent of which was The Israeli aggression assault on Jenin and its camp.
In addition, talks highlighted enhancing the strategic bilateral ties in various fields, hailing the high-level coordination and cooperation between the two countries at international forums.
Al-Mikdad and Abdollahian focused on enhancing strategic relations in all fields, hailing the high level of coordination and cooperation at international forums. They stressed the importance of continuous work to face the Western policies that target Syria, Iran and other countries which reject such policies.
