Al-Mikdad, Abdollahian discuss positive developments in the Arab and regional arenas

Damascus – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad and his Iranian Counterpart Hussein Amir Abdollahian, during a phone conversation on Saturday, discussed bilateral ties between Syria and Iran as well as the recent positive developments in the Arab and regional arenas.

Issues of common interests were also discussed during the conversation with focus on implementing the agreements signed between the two countries during the visit of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi to Syria.

The two ministers confirmed the depth of friendship between the two countries.
