The concerned authorities reopened on Saturday the settlement center in the city of Al-Mayadin in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, for the second time since the start of the settlement process for the people of the province in mid-November.
A number of those whose status has been settled and who came from several villages in the Syrian Jazeera indicated in statements to SANA reporter that “the (SDF) militia linked to the American occupation has repeatedly tried to prevent them from reaching the settlement center. But they insisted on coming, believing that the Syrian state is the only guarantor of the return of everyone who has lost his way to the right path and to his normal life with his family and the people of his area.”
In the coming days, settlement operations will continue in the city of Al-Mayadin in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor to allow all those wanted to join it, after thousands of the city’s residents joined it in the last settlement.
