Al-Mansour: The Membership of the Central Financial Control Authority in “ARABOSAI” Contributes to the Exchange of Experiences Among Arab Countries

The President of the Central Financial Control Authority, Waseem Al-Mansour, expressed his deep appreciation for the statement made by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), Fadila Al-Qarqouri, regarding the resumption of the Central Financial Control Authority in the Syrian Arab Republic of its active role in the organization’s activities.

Al-Mansour stated to SANA: “Enhancing the presence of the authority in the ARABOSAI organization falls within the framework of consolidating its position within the Arab oversight system, strengthening its role in supporting transparency and accountability pathways, and exchanging oversight experiences among brotherly Arab countries.”

He added: “We at the Central Financial Control Authority consider our membership in ARABOSAI not just an institutional framework, but an effective partnership and professional responsibility that requires us to actively contribute to developing joint Arab oversight performance and building bridges of knowledge and technical cooperation with other member institutions.”

In this context, Al-Mansour highlighted the technical and professional support provided by the organization, affirming the authority’s determination to optimally benefit from training and qualification opportunities and unify standards, which will positively reflect on the efficiency of oversight work in Syria and enhance its regional professional presence in this vital field.
