Al-Maliki: Double Standards and Selectivity in applying International Laws provide cover for the occupation’s massacres in Gaza

The Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al Maliki affirmed that the double standards in dealing with the Palestinian issue and selectivity in applying the International Laws provide cover for the continuation of the Israeli occupation massacres in the stricken Gaza Strip, which threatens global security and stability.

Al Maliki said during a speech yesterday reported by Wafa Agency: Israel continues using the weapon of starvation and thirst against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip whose suffering is worsening  daily as a result of the siege and preventing food, water, fuel and basic needs access nto the Strip for the 67th day. Meanwhile, schools, markets, hospitals and squares were turned into mass graves in a way that amounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity and violates human rights.

Al-Maliki called on the international community to take urgent action to stop these escalating crimes against the Palestinian people, which constitute a serious violation of international humanitarian law and confirm the systematic violations committed by the occupation against the Palestinians’ rights, especially their right to life.
