Al-Maliki calls on international community to reject the “deal of the century”

Jeddah, (ST) – Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki called on the international community to reject the “deal of the century” which aims to liquidate the Palestinian issue and denies the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

During the emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah today, al-Maliki confirmed in the State of Palestine’s speech the absolute rejection of (deal of the century) as well as the rejection of the imposition of the American administration’s agenda.

Al-Maliki reiterated that the US administration’s announcement of the (Deal of the Century) encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its crimes against the Palestinians, calling on international community to take serious and immediate measures to end the occupation and hold Israeli officials accountable for their crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Al-Maliki stressed that the Palestinian people will not give up their national principles and their inalienable rights, foremost of which is the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Since the announcement of US President Donald Trump in a blatant bias towards the Israeli occupation and a violation of international legitimacy resolutions last Tuesday, there have been massive demonstrations rejecting the deal of the century affirming that the conspiracy against the Palestinian people continues. Demonstrations vowed to terminate all such conspiracies.
