TEHRAN,(ST)_The Iraqi Vice-President Nouri al-Maliki has underlined that Turkey is ‘publicly’ involved in supporting terrorism in the region, describing the Turkish Prime Minister’s recent justifications for the entry of terrorists into Iraq via Turkey as ‘unacceptable’.
In a statement to the ‘al-Alam’ TV channel today, al-Malilki said: “Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates do not agree on many causes, but they agree on being against Iraq and its political project.”
He pointed out that Iran provided Iraq with aircrafts and experience to stop the ISIS attack on Iraq.
“However, the United States imposed blockage on Iraq over the past period and did not deliver aircrafts to Iraq on time despite the fact the Iraq paid their prices,” al-Maliki stressed.
