Al-Khatib affirms resistance protects Lebanon
On August 10th, the Vice-President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council in Lebanon Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib affirmed that the sacrifices and steadfastness of the resistance and the support of its allies preserved Lebanon and liberated it from the Israeli enemy.
Al-Khatib said that the resistance guarantees Lebanon’s stability and survival.
He added that the resistance’s weapon preserved Lebanon’s dignity and its people after it liberated its land from “Zionist and Takfiri terrorists”.
Al-Khatib went on to say : “The heroic response of the resistance men in retaliation for the enemy’s attacks confirms their readiness, efficiency and ability to curb the aggression and prove that it is a guarantee to deter any aggression and protect Lebanon and its people.”
Al-Khatib pointed out that the colonial powers that seek hegemony are covering their actions with false slogans in our region, as they seek to divide the region.
