The leader of the Iranian Revolution Sayed Ali al-Khamenei affirmed that the embargo and the unfair American sanctions being imposed on Iran are doomed to failure, and would end in favor of the Iranian people.
In a televised speech he made on the New Iranian Year, al-Khamenei said that despite the harmful impact of these sanctions, they have some advantages because they pushed the Iranians in the direction of ensuring their needs by depending on themselves, noting that the new year will be the year of production renaissance.
He added that the Iranian people faced big challenges last year, but overcome them through national cohesion, expressing confidence that the new year will be the year of victories.
In turn, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a televised speech that the American terrorists imposed the most harsh sanctions on Iran last year, but the Iranians managed to overcome these sanctions without depending on oil revenues, noting that the new year would witness the implementation of great new projects and economic revival.
