Al-Khalil congratulates UAE on the success of Expo 2020 Dubai

DUBAI, Nov 15 (ST)-The ways of enhancing relations between Syria and the UAE were discussed on Monday by the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad Samir Al-Khalil and the UAE State Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalifa Shahin Al-Marar.

The discussion was held on the sidelines of the activities of the National Day of Syria held in Expo 2020 Dubai, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The agency reported that Al-Khalil congratulated the UAE minister on the success of the Expo 2020 Dubai and referred to the importance of cementing the strong relations between the two brotherly countries in all fields.

For his part, the UAE minister said that the Syrian presence in the Exhibition reflected the historic and civilized image of Syria, hoping that stability and security will be consolidated in Syria.

He reiterated his country’s readiness to exert all possible effort in this regard.
