Al-Jaish tops its group and qualifies to the second round of AFC Cup

The Syrian club al-Jaish topped Group 4 with 14 points and qualified to the second round of AFC Cup after beating the Lebanese club al-Nejma in Sidon, Lebanon 2-0.

Basel Mustafa and Abdullateef Salkeini scored for al-Jaish.

Al-Jaish will meet the Jordanian club al-Jazeera (second of group 2) in the second round.
