Al-Jaish clinch NBC title

DAMASCUS,(ST)-The Damascus-based club al-Jaish  has captured the men’s National Boxing Championship title.

Some 81 boxers, representing a number of governorates plus Jaish and Shurta clubs, took part in the event which was held at the Faiha Sports Complex in Damascus.

In the overall standings, al-Jaish came first with a tally of 40 points. Followed by Shurta with 27 pts. The place went to Damascus team who collected 21 pts.
