GENEVA, (ST)-The Syrian Arab Republic’s delegation to Geneva intra-Syrian dialogue started on Monday a new round of talks with the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura at the UN Headquarters in Geneva.
Today’s meeting will focus on studying the modifications made by the delegation on Mistura’s 12-point paper, head of delegation Bashar Al-Jaafari told journalists on Monday before the beginning of the meeting.
According to al-Jaafari, the delegation will also raise the issue of the terrorist blast which today targeted al-Saida Zaynab neighborhood in Damascus Countryside and which claimed the lives of scores of innocent people.
“This terrorist act proves that those who claimed that they were holding talks with us diplomatically here in Geneva and then decided to withdraw are but terrorists and sponsors of terrorism along with their operators,” al-Jaafari stressed.
