Al-Jaafari to the delegation of the Syrian-Russian Medical Council: Syrian-Russian relations are getting stronger

Damascus (ST): Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari received  the delegation of the Syrian-Russian Medical Council headed by Dr. Fadi Issawi.     

The Deputy Minister expressed his hope for the success of the Medical Council in achieving the goals it aspires to, pointing in this context to the ancient Syrian-Russian relations at the official and popular levels, which by their nature are becoming more and more solid and stronger, pointing out that the establishment of the Syrian-Russian Medical Council as a non-governmental organization is an embodiment of the nature of this solid relationship between the two friendly countries.

Dr. Al-Jaafari also stressed that despite the passage of the decade of war on Syria, and the hostile countries continuing to impose the harshest types of illegal and immoral punishments on all sectors, Syria is still steadfast thanks to the leadership and strong popular will that believes in steadfastness until victory is achieved, as well as the presence of honest friends who reject opportunism in their relations. They take principles, ethics and international law as a compass in building their relations with states and peoples.

 

In this context, the Deputy Minister referred to the importance of establishing the Syrian-Russian Medical Council, and its contribution to alleviating the negative effects of unilateral coercive measures that affected the health sector, whether in terms of medical materials, laboratory equipment or human cadres, stressing the ministry’s readiness to provide all the required support to assist the Medical Council in achieving its goals.

For his part, the head of the delegation and its members thanked the Deputy Minister for the support provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to the Council since its first inception, stressing their total rejection of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, noting that the establishment of the Syrian-Russian Medical Council aims to establish hospitals, health centers, study and cultural exchange and exchange Medical expertise in various specialties.
