Al-Jaafari stresses the need to develop effective tools for combating terrorism

Syria’s Ambassador to Russia Bashar Al-Jaafari on Tuesday stressed the need to develop effective multilateral tools to combat terrorism, noting that the best way to deal with this type of collective threat is to activate international mechanisms.

In a statement he wrote in the book of condolences at the Russian Foreign Ministry after the recent terror atrack in Moscow “today we expressed Syria’s deep solidarity with Russia, the Russian President, government and people over the human losses resulted from the heinous terrorist attack that targeted Crocus City Hall Friday evening”.

Al-Jaafari noted the importance of establishing serious, credible and multilateral tools to combat terrorism, as the existing mechanisms have proven to be ineffective, so we need serious and reliable collective action to combat terrorism in general.
