Al-Jaafari stresses European youth’s important role in creating awareness inside their societies about Syria events

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bashar Al-Jaafari has stressed that Syria’s victory over terrorism and its supporters is a victory for rightness and for all the countries that are facing blockade and sanctions, noting the need to enhance the role of the European youth in creating awareness inside their societies about the conspiracy that has targeted Syria.

Al-Jaafari made the remarks during his meeting on Monday with Aser Heranci, Head of the Spanish Communist Party’s Youth Movement for Supporting Syria and the accompanying delegation.

Al-Jaafari explained the terrorist war that has been targeting Syria, the foreign interference in the country’s internal affairs and the illegal unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the West on the Syrian people. He pointed out that the American, Turkish and Israeli occupation of Syrian territories has exacerbated the suffering of the Syrian people.

“Preserving Syria’s territorial integrity and liberating all the occupied Syrian lands are a priority for Syria which has achieved diplomatic gains and is about to achieve a political and military victory,” Al-Jaafari said, noting that Syria’s victory over terrorism and its supporters is a victory for rightness and for all the countries that are facing blockade and sanctions.

He hailed the awareness of the European youth and their ability to think independently, despite the propaganda launched against Syria, affirming the importance of their role in creating awareness inside their societies about events in Syria.

On his part, Heranci talked about the movements’ activities to face the propaganda and misinformation campaigns launched against Syria, clarifying that these activities explain the reality of the so-called “Syrian opposition” and stressing that the movement members will talk about the state of stability and security in the Syrian cities.

He asserted the movement’s continuous support for Syria in the face of terrorism.

The Spanish Communist Party’s Youth Movement for Supporting Syria was established 9 years ago in Spain with the aim of supporting Syria in the confrontation of the conspiracy that have been plotted by influential powers against Syria.

Earlier, Minister of Culture Luban Mushaweh held talks with the delegation of the Spanish Communist Party’s Youth Movement for Supporting Syria. The talks focused on the cultural relations between the Syrian and Spanish people.

Mushaweh affirmed that the visit of the Spanish delegation is very important for documenting the ancient Syrian civilization, for shedding light on what terrorism has done to Syria during the war and for conveying the real image about what is going on in the country to the Spanish youth.

She hailed the movement’s efforts in supporting political and humanitarian issues.
