Al-Jaafari receives Iranian academic delegation
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bashar Al-Jaafari affirmed the need to enhance academic exchange between the Syrian and Iranian universities and to benefit from culture and literature in diplomacy and political work.
Al-Jaafari made the remarks during his meeting on Tuesday with an Iranian academic delegation that comprised professors of political sciences at Iranian universities.
The deputy minister noted the importance of public diplomacy in conveying a real image about events in the two countries to the public opinion.
On their part, members of the guest delegation stressed keenness on boosting academic and scientific cooperation between Syria and Iran.
