Al-Jaafari attends special event in commemoration of the UN establishment anniversary

New York (ST): Syria’s permanent representative to the UN Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari has taken part in the special event which was organized at the UN office in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the UN establishment at the invitation of the UN Secretary General Antonio Guteres.

The event included the signing of a poster on which the preface of the UN Charter was written in the UN six official languages. The poster will be put at the entrance of delegations of the UN General Assembly next Monday to mark the UN 75th foundation anniversary.

The six official languages of the UN are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
