Al-Ittihad News: talks between Presidents Al-Sharaa and Bin Zayed reflect the UAE’s unwavering support for Syria

The Emirati Al-Ittihad News Center said that the talks held yesterday in Abu Dhabi between President Ahmed al-Sharaa and his Emirati counterpart, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reflect the UAE’s welcome of any step that helps the Syrian people overcome their difficult situation.

The joint talks also stressed the firm Emirati stance in support of Syria’s sovereignty over all its territories.
In an analysis of “Syria’s Future,” the center noted that President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reiterated, during the talks, the UAE’s support for Syria to confront the challenges of the transitional phase.
This reaffirmation stems from the country’s commitment to providing aid and supporting the Syrian people in realizing their aspirations for a unified Syria, where security and stability prevail, and Syrian people enjoy national unity, development, and a dignified life.
The center noted that the discussions affirmed the UAE’s welcome of any step that would help the Syrian people overcome their difficult circumstances and build a stable Syria where all segments and components of the population coexist in security, peace, and harmony.
Such efforts have a significant impact on strengthening national unity and reflecting on stability and peace in the region, given that Syria’s stability is a strategic interest for Arab countries and the entire region.

In this context, the Center highlighted the UAE’s unwavering support for Syria’s independence and sovereignty over all its territories, in addition to its commitment to supporting solidarity and cohesion of the brotherly Syrian people, with all their diversity, in order to build a unified, stable, and secure Syria without exclusion.
The UAE believes in the importance of restoring optimism to the Syrian people and empowering them to achieve a prosperous future.
