Al-Hujaimi and Abdel Mawla discuss the efforts of Iraq and the United Nations to provide humanitarian support to the Syrian people

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Damascus Yassin Sharif Al-Hujaimi discussed with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Syria and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator Adam Abdel Mawla joint efforts to provide humanitarian support to the Syrian people.
The two sides reviewed the impact of the unjust siege imposed on the Syrian people and the negative repercussions this siege caused on hospital infrastructure, drinking water and sanitation systems.
Al-Hujaimi affirmed his country’s permanent support for the Syrian people in their crisis, especially during the earthquake disaster.
