Al-Hawash Private University holds its first student art exhibition

Universities, both private and governmental, are keen to hold events that will serve the student’s educational career. The most important events are exhibitions held in the campus where students are viewers and participants in addition to their role in creating a motivational environment for the student.

From this point of view and to highlight the students’ work, H.P.U held an exhibition that included a group of quality engineering projects, models of architectural works, drawings and many artworks for more than 35 students from the Faculty of Architecture Engineering and the rest of the university’s faculties.

Plastic Artist Dr. Samira Medawar, who is a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture and the exhibition supervisor, said, “This exhibition, which is being held for the first time, aims to introduce the students’ products and present what they have learned during the study year. The importance of this exhibition comes from the fact that it constitutes an incentive and motivation for students to present creative and outstanding works in which they express their ideas and their interaction with their specialization with professionalism and high artistic innovation. This will contribute in enhancing their self-confidence and their ability to be creative, innovative and contribute to the development of society”.

Laura Malouhi, a teaching assistant at the university, said that the exhibition reflects the visions of students and what they learned during the academic year where every student presents, according to his vision, the subject he desires to be his first start.

Participants in the exhibition underscored the importance of holding such events as they are good opportunity to present their work and achievements during their study years, in addition to its great role in encouraging and motivating them to make more effort to provide the best, especially as their work has been admired and appreciated by their teachers and colleagues.
