Al-Halqi holds parties and countries involved in war against Syria to account

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ “verily, there is a dire need to revamp the role of Arab legal organizations and syndicates to advocate Arab causes, “underscored Prime Minister, Dr. Wael al-Halqi.

Al-Halqi’s remark was made during his meeting on Saturday with a Jordanian lawyers’ delegation, headed by lawyer Samih Khreis.

”as part of the unfair war against Syria is legal ,this requires further efforts by lawyers for making it clear to public opinion and international organizations, “said al-Halqi.

The Premier further explained  that the war against Syria is targeting the region’s security and stability and inciting to violence and terrorism, underlining the necessity that all parties, countries and individuals involved in the war against the Syrian people be legally pursued and held to account.

“furthermore, the media outlets involved in shedding the Syrian blood be sued as they violated the ethics of journalism for money-making, indicating that the success of legal processes in this will help restore legitimacy to the United Nations and prevent rogue states from pursuing the policy of intervention in other countries’ affairs, “underlined al-Halqi.

During the meeting ,Premier al-Halqi also briefed his quests on the dimensions of the anti-Syria war, the Syrian government’s successes in preserving the Syrian social fabric and addressing the economic and services status, and compensating the victims of terrorist attacks, the government’s non-stop efforts and the subsidization policies to meet the needs of citizens.

 He voiced  confidence in the Syrian people’s inevitable victory against terrorism.

“the Syrian government is open to all international political initiatives that believe in political solution and reject foreign intervention. The solution will be exclusively Syrian, “stressed al-Halqi.

For his part, Khreis voiced support to the Syrian people and army in defense of Syria against aggression.
