Al-Halqi: Dialogue sole way out of the crisis

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ “needless to say that Arab intellectuals , writers and journalists have an important role as regards spreading the secular culture in a bid to overcome the cultural invasion that targets the Arab nation’s identity ,”underscored  Prime Minister, Dr. Wael al-Halqi .

Al-Halqi’s remark was made during a meeting  he held on Monday with a delegation from the Jordanian Writers’ Association and members of the Jordanian Popular Committee for Supporting Syria.

 PM al-Halqi emphasized the role of writers in organizing popular activities, realizing the Arab cultural security, and divulging the truth about the conspiracy targeting the Arab nation and Syria in particular.

“they (writers)can convey the reality about the events unfolding in Syria ”with objectivity and transparency, “underlined al-Halqi.

He expressed confidence that the Syrian people are convinced that dialogue is the sole way out of the crisis.

“in this respect, Syria welcomes international initiatives that serve a peaceful solution,” stressed al-Halqi.

The guest delegation voiced  appreciation for the Syrian leadership, people and army, affirming that ”Syria’s victory is inching closer” and it will emerge stronger thanks to its steadfastness and victories.
