Al-Halaqi asserts Syria’s desire to expand inter-trade with friendly countries

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Prime Minister has underscored that Syria is interested in reactivating development relations with Belarus and expanding inter-trade base with friendly countries.

Wael al-Halaqi’s remark came during his meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Valentin Rybakov on Wednesday.

According to the official news agency (SANA), the premier expressed satisfaction over the development of economic, trade and industrial ties between Syria and Belarus.

He invited the Belarusian companies to set up development and service projects in Syria in cooperation with national companies and Syrian Businessmen, highly appreciating Belarus’s support for the steadfastness of Syrian people and leadership in confronting the terrorist war on Syria.

On his part, Rybakov stressed his country’s desire to develop trade and development relations with Syria, hailing the Syrian people and leadership’s steadfastness in facing the ‘unjust terrorist war’ waged against them.

Today’s gathering dealt with ways of enhancing economic, industrial, cultural and scientific cooperation and settling joint industries as well as signing new deals between Syria and Belarus.
