Al-Habbash calls on the international community to provide protection for Palestinian holy sites

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Palestine Chief Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and provide protection for Palestinian sanctities, which are exposed on a daily basis to violations by the occupation and its settlers in full view of the world.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Chief Justice of Palestine condemned the occupation forces’ storming of the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, destroying part of its contents and seizing the other part, considering that this criminal aggression represents a continuation of the occupation’s aggressive policy against the Palestinian people and their legitimate national rights.

Al-Habbash stressed that the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall is an integral part of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and has the same sanctity and value as the Al-Aqsa Mosque with all its squares, facilities and walls, stressing that non-Muslims have no right to a single inch of it.

In turn, the head of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, warned of the adverse consequences of the occupation continuing its Judaization policies and aggressive measures against the city of Jerusalem and the holy places, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.
