Al-Ghabbash meets WHO Regional Director and Jordanian Health Minister in Geneva

GENEVA, May.24, (ST)-The Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash discussed on Tuesday with World Health Organization’s Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Ahmed Al-Manzari, the ways of developing the health sector and improving the situation of healthcare services being provided to the citizens.
 
During the meeting which was held on the sidelines of the plenary session of the 75th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, the two sides also reviewed the developments and priorities related to health care in the region and the world, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
 
Moreover, the Minister held talks with his Jordanian counterpart Firas Al-Hawari over the ways of boosting mechanisms of mutual cooperation between the two countries.
 
Activities of the 75th session of the World Health Assembly began on Sunday and will last until the 28th of May.
