Al-Dahhak: Efforts underway to form a transitional government that reflects Syria’s diversity

Syrian delegate to the UN Security Council Qusai Al-Dahhak said that Mr. Ahmad Al-Sharaa has been chosen to assume the presidency to represent Syria in international forums during the transitional phase.

He added that “the upcoming period will focus on completing the unity of Syrian territory and ensuring that weapons remain exclusively in the hands of the state.

“The new Syria will not be a haven for terrorism nor a threat to any country. Efforts are also underway to form a transitional government that reflects Syria’s diversity.”
