Al-Baath Party in Yemen: People’s Assembly elections are a new victory for the Syrian people

Sanaa,(ST)-The regional leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Yemen confirmed that holding parliamentary  elections in Syria for the third legislative term is a new victory for the Syrian people that adds to the political victories and constitutes an important  process of construction and modernization.

In a statement today, the party’s regional leadership clarified that the Syrian people’s turnout in the legislative elections in light of the economic conditions and  hard circumstances in which they live is “clear evidence of their greatness, their insistence on life, the building of their present and future in a well-deserved manner, and defending the sovereignty, security and stability of their homeland, regardless of the size of the sacrifices.”

The leadership pointed out that these elections coincide with the field victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorists and their sponsors and in the face of the Zionist American conspiracies .
