Al-Azhar Al-Sharif condemns the Zionist entity’s declaration to build new settlement units in the occupied West Bank

On October 18, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif condemned in the strongest terms the Zionist entity’s declaration of approval to build thousands of settlement units in the occupied West Bank.

“This decision represents a flagrant encroachment on the territories of the occupied Palestinian state and a provocation to the feelings of the Palestinians,” Al-Azhar said in a statement.

The statement stressed that these steps will not change the reality of the Arab identity of the land and that the Zionist entity is usurping the lands of the oppressed Palestinian people who have the right and the land.

The statement indicated that this Zionist declaration violates the UN SecurityCouncil resolutions, the decisions of international references, and all laws related to the rights and cause of the Palestinian state.
