AIPU Calls for Stopping All Forms of Normalization with Israeli Occupation Entity

AMMAN- The Arab inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) affirmed the need for stopping all forms of normalization with the Israeli occupation entity and taking a firm stance in this regard to continue efforts for supporting the Palestinian cause at all levels, according to SANA.

The concluding statement of the 29th Conference of the Arab inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) held in Amman, Jordan, stressed that any solution that ignores the Palestinian rights stated in the international resolutions is not a viable solution.

The statement indicated that the continuous Israeli attacks on the Islamic and Christian holy sites in al-Quds and Israel’s continuous attempts to obliterate the features of al-Quds are provocations and portend a more complex stage, adding that what is required is to work forward to protect al-Quds from any attempts aimed at tampering with its historical and Islamic identity.

The end of the Arab-Israeli conflict and the restoration of security and stability to the region will only be achieved through the end of the occupation of the Arab lands and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital according to the line of June 4, 1967, the statement said

The statement affirmed the importance of continuing to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in order to continue to provide health and education services to the Palestinian refugees.
