IDLIB,(ST)_A convoy of 11 trucks carrying humanitarian aid for people of Bennish and Selqin in Idlib countryside set off Thursday, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency quoted Idlib Governor Khereddin Abdu al-Sattar as citing that the aid convoy comes within the aid being offered by the Syrian government to people in Idlib countryside.
“The Governorate in cooperation with the Red Crescent work to guarantee the arrival of aid to those in need,” Abdu al-Sattar said, adding that the governorate will spare no effort to increase aid and improve living conditions of the people in the countryside of Idlib through offering available services to all areas.
The convoy includes 7000 food baskets, first aid kits, furniture and housewares.
