TARTOUS, (ST)- Some 7. 000 tons of vegetables and fruits were exported by sea from the port of Tartous.

“The export process was conducted by marine shipping in cooperation with the Federation of Exporters and economic activities. To make the process of export a success, some ships were ensured, interconnection procedures with a number of ports were facilitated, reducing costs of transport and securing appropriate ships for shipping. This step is still the beginning to activate commercial and export movement for the benefit of everyone, “according to business activities in Tartous.
