The General Authority for Land and Sea Ports held a meeting with the French company CGM CMA, which operates the container terminal in Lattakia’s Port.
The Syrian side was represented by the Chairman of the Authority, Mr. “Qutaiba Badawi”, while the French company was represented by Mr. “Joseph Daqqaq”, the company’s director in the Middle East region.
During the session, it was agreed to settle previous debts owed by both parties over the past decade, and to conclude a new contract to operate the station according to new terms and mechanisms.
