Agreement between Aleppo University and the Higher Institute of Southern Ocean Biology of the Russian Academy

Within the activities of the last day of the Fifth Syrian-Russian Joint Meeting for following-up the International Conference on the Return of Syrian Refugees and Displaced Persons held at Conference Palace in Damascus, the University of Aleppo signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Higher Institute of Biological Sciences of Southern Seas of the Russian Academy.
Rector of Aleppo University, Dr. Maher Karman, explained that the agreement included the exchange of experience and research projects related to marine sciences, especially in the field of sea water treatment and the development of some algae that could be used to feed organisms.
For his part, Director of the Higher Institute of Biological Sciences, Dr. Raman Garbenov, indicated that the goal of the agreement is to strengthen scientific cooperation between Aleppo University and the Higher Institute to develop cooperation relations in the field of scientific research and the educational process for students through biological issues, technology and environment.
