Dara’a, (ST) – After years of hiatus due to terrorism, the farmers of Sheikh Miskin in Daraa returned to planting their lands and harvesting their crops, amid facilities provided by the concerned authorities.
Agricultural crops in Sheikh Miskin vary between wheat and summer vegetables such as tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, potatoes and others, in addition to olive orchards and grape vineyards.
Engineer Bassam Al-Hashish, Assistant Director of Agriculture in Dara’a, explained that the farmers made great efforts to restore their land to what it was like before. He pointed out that, the Directorate of Agriculture provided everything available to support farmers with production requirements.
