After more than 13 years of absence, the Lebanese  Fayhaa National Choir returns to Damascus, full of love and peace to sing and spread joy with a wonderful performance led by Maestro Barkev Taslakian on the stage of the Drama Theatre at Dar Al Assad For Culture and Art.

During the concert, the choir selected songs from the Syrian heritage, as a present from them to the Syrian people, in addition to songs from the Lebanese and Saudi heritage during which the choir handed over the leadership to the Maestro Osama Khalaf.

“Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts used to host the most beautiful and prestigious groups that present what distinguishes Arab and international cultures, which is at the heart of its role and work,” said Minister of Culture Dr. Labana Mshaweh in a statement to reporters. She praised the outstanding performance of the Lebanese Fayhaa Choir through the harmony between the voices and commitment to advancing thought and artistic taste.

“We came to Syria, because it means a lot to us,  and because of what this country offered to Lebanon through its principled stances and loyalty to the Arab nation.”  Said the Lebanese Minister of Culture, Muhammad Wissam al-Murtada, referring to the role played by the Lebanese National Fayhaa Choir in promoting the role of culture in various fields, spreading the culture of awareness, coexistence and cohesion inside the homeland.
