Afrin Children Urge Immediate Stopping of Turkish Aggression

ALEPPO, (ST)- The people of the Syrian city of Afrin in northern Aleppo took to the streets of to protest the ongoing aggression of the Turkish regime forces and its terrorist mercenaries against their city.

Many children took part in the protest by raising placards reading “stop shelling Afrin”, “No to Killing Children”, “We want our schools opened” and “Erdogan is the Killer of Civilians”.

 Schools in Afrin have stopped the education process since the beginning of the Turkish aggression in January 20. The Turkish forces shelling repeatedly targeted the schools, infrastructure, services facilities, bakeries, water pumps and power stations in the villages and towns of Afrin.

On Saturday, continuous bombardment by the Turkish regime forces  against Afrin led to more victims, destruction and displacement.

SANA reporter said that  a child was martyred and five civilians were wounded in Turkish forces shelling against Qantara, Mariameen and al-Orouba villages.

Thousands of civilians were displaced from their homes in the villages of Afrin area fleeing the violent bombardment of Erdogan’s army and its terrorist mercenaries.
