Adra Center for Training and Employment will rehabilitate 600 employees until the end of this year

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, Jul.27, (ST)- The Minister of Industry Ziyad Sabbagh has stressed the importance of the Adra Center for Training and Employment in training labor cadres and rehabilitating them in a way that contributes to meeting the needs of industrial facilities for trained and specialized technical manpower.

The minister’s remarks came after he inspected the sections and technical equipment of the center on Wednesday.

“ This center was established upon the directives of President Bashar Al-Assad.. It was established in cooperation with several local authorities, various ministries, and financiers. .. it is a leading experience at the level of industrial cities and a civilized center by all scientific standards that qualifies the labor to supply the labor market. It will be implemented in other industrial cities in Homs and Aleppo,” Sabbagh said

For his part, Nidal Al-Bitar, the Director of the European Institute for Cooperation and Development and director of the center, explained that the institute has 8 centers in Syria concerned with training youth and taking care of school dropouts. It provides about 24 professional departments that are trained in a technical, practical and theoretical way, and we are rehabilitating about 30,000 young men and women in Syria.

He affirmed that the center will rehabilitate 600 employees until the end of 2022.
