Activities of the International Conference on Oral History continue in Muscat

The International Conference on Oral History, organized by Wathiqat Watan (Homeland Document) Foundation and Omani National Records and Archives Authority, continued in Muscat for the 2nd day.
The conference, which began yesterday, is being held in the conference hall of the Grand Millennium Hotel Under the title “International Conference on Oral History: Concept and Experience in the Arab World.”
The lectures of the 2nd day focused on the practical axes to explain Arab, regional and international experiences in documentation and oral history
The Syrian delegation participating in organizing the conference and presenting research and lectures, is led by the founder and chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Wathiqat Watan Foundation, Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban, and it comprised representatives and researchers from several Syrian institutions, including the Syria Trust for Development, Damascus University, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Information.
The conference activities lasts for three days, and includes various lectures to discuss theoretical, practical and future topics on ways to develop the oral history experience at the Arab level.
