Activities of the Economic Media Exhibition Kicked Off

Damascus, (ST)- Activities of Economic Media Exhibition for Reconstruction were kicked off recently at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The event was held by the Arab Foundation for Advertisement with the participation of dozens of government and private banks and national media outlets.

Deputy Minister of Information Eng. Maan Haidar stressed that the exhibition focuses on the projects and reconstruction plans conducted by the participating companies, expressing optimism this broad participation by companies and their contribution to the reconstruction process in Syria in the future.

He pointed out that the participation will enable the companies to display their work, services, activities and their ability to follow-up to participate in the reconstruction and development process.

For his part, Director General of the Arab Foundation for Advertisement Majed Halima clarified that the exhibition reflects the will of the participating companies in various sectors and providing their services in spite of the circumstances experienced by the country.

He said that the participation in the exhibition is an emphasis on the current role of these institutions in supporting and strengthening the national economy and their future role in the reconstruction process.

Mr. Halima pointed out that the exhibition provides an opportunity for the Foundation to present itself to the citizens and its work, provides an opportunity for the participating companies to offer their services and enable citizens to have access to these services.

The three –day exhibition, which is dedicated to those who have interest in reconstruction and its requirements in the economic, media, banking, service, educational, insurance and telecommunications fields.
