Activities of the central celebration of International Children’s Day launched in Sweida

Sweida (ST): On the stage of the Palace of Culture in Sweida, the activities of the central celebration of International Children’s Day, entitled “Small Hearts for a Great Homeland,” kicked off.

The activities held by the Directorate of Child Culture at the Ministry of Culture included, on its first day, a theatrical dance performance entitled “Magic Beans” produced by children, adolescents and youth.

It also included art exhibitions of works produced by children and adolescents within the project (Life Skills) under the supervision of Shadi Abu Hala, and for the winning artworks in the competitions of the Ministry of Culture within the project (Talent Incubator).

The Director of Culture in Sweida, Laila Abu Fakhr, indicated in her speech that this celebration comes within the directives of the Ministry of Culture to pay attention to children, and to emphasize the promotion of ideals and moral values in them through the projects of the Directorate of Child Culture aimed at embracing talents and nurturing them in order to build a conscious generation immune to all dangers.
