Under the slogan (Green Investment), the activities of the medical and Aromatic Plants Conference, which is being held by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture at the Damarose Hotel in Damascus, will be launched over the coming two days.
Secretary of Damascus Chamber of Agriculture, Muhammad Janan, said in a statement to SANA that the conference will discuss three main axes, which are the agricultural and industrial axis, and the pharmaceutical industries axis. Work papers will be presented by specialists from several bodies to be determined by a committee dedicated to this purpose.
Jenan added that recent students and post-graduate students at Syrian universities will submit research for projects in the field of medical and aromatic plants through the Scientific Research Commission. A committee comprising representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Commission, Damascus University and the Chamber of Agriculture will select the most important research.
