Activists break into Washington Municipality, demand an end to the Israeli aggression against Gaza

Washington, (ST) –  American activists stormed into the headquarters of the Washington, D.C., municipality and demanded the approval of a draft resolution supporting a ceasefire in Gaza Strip.

Local media reported that the activists chanted slogans demanding an immediate ceasefire. They also called for ensuring the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza Strip.

The activists said: The United States is transferring billions of dollars to “Israel,” demanding the ratification of the draft resolution in order to end the massacres in Gaza.

After they were taken out of the municipal building, the activists confirmed that their protests would continue until the ceasefire decision was ratified.

47 American cities issued symbolic resolutions calling for an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza, but the administration of US President Joe Biden rejected these calls.
