ACSAD, Arab Organization for Agricultural Development discuss cooperation to implement joint agricultural development projects in Syria

Nasr El -Din Al -Obaid, Director General of the Arab Center for Dry Areas and Arid Zones (ACSAD) discussed with Professor Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Al -Dakheiri, Director General of the Arab Agricultural Development Organization on Wednesday means of cooperation to improve and increase agricultural production in Syria and the Arab countries.

In a statement, Al -Obaid stressed the importance of coordinating joint work to establish development projects in Syria and the Arab countries, to advance the Arab agricultural sector.

In turn, Professor Al -Dakheiri praised the experience of the scientists of the “ACSAD” organization in the field of agricultural production.

He stressed the importance of benefiting from ACSAD’s experiences to develop Arab agriculture and support Arab farmers.

Al -Dakheiri revealed that work is underway to transfer scientific and research experiences to the Syrian agriculture, and to provide Syria with modern technology to help it return to production, and export its Arab-desired agricultural products.
