DAMASCUS, (ST) –The Industry Minister Kamal Edine Tomah underlined that the ministry is seeking to take advantage of the available expertise in universities and research centers in terms of linking the university and the industrial practical reality and the development of the industry in the reconstruction phase, which in turn leads to a state of integration in the productivity, management and marketing process.
“This comes within the framework of the reconstruction phase and the role of the ministry in this strategic file, stressing that the educational sector differs from the actual practical sector concerning realism and clarity and coping with the developments in the production process as a whole and therefore a step must be taken to bridge the relationship between the two parties to improve the mechanism of work,” Mr. Tomah added.
“A fixed strategy for a period of 25 years with its initial form has been achieved to develop the reality of the industrial public sector in the medium and long terms and this strategy could be modified and changed according to what the expert see and this strategy will not be presented to the government only after the completion of close examination of all aspects,” the minister concluded.
