Abu Rudeineh: All settlements are illegal

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh affirmed that all Israeli settlements built on the occupied Palestinian lands are illegal. He stressed that international statements of denunciation and denunciation are no longer sufficient to confront the aggressive practices of the Israeli occupation.

WAFA News Agency quoted Abu Rudeineh as saying on Monday: All settlements built on the land of the State of Palestine are illegal. He added that the occupation’s decision to return settlers to the “Homesh” settlement in the northern West Bank, which was evacuated in 2005, is condemned and rejected. “This decision represents a challenge to the international community”, he continued.

Abu Rudeineh indicated that all international legitimacy resolutions, the most important of which is UN Resolution 2334, clearly confirmed that all settlements in the Palestinian territories, including those established in East Al-Quds (Jerusalem), violate international law and should be removed.
